VIDEO: Carlos Correa and Jose Altuve's Unreal Double Play in 8th Inning Actually Saved the Astros
By Ryan Flores
The Houston Astros clearly didn't want to partake in a Game 7. They had plenty of amazing plays and clutch hits in their Game 6 victory over the New York Yankees, with this spectacular game-saving double play turned by Carlos Correa and Jose Altuve being one of them.
Correa threw an absolute heater to nail Gary Sanchez out at first, ending a chance for the Yankees to grab a run, which would've been costly considering DJ LeMahieu hit a two-run homer the next inning. If they didn't convert the double play, Gio Urshela might have caused some serious damage.
Luckily, Correa and Altuve converted the epic play, helping the Astros advance to the World Series.
