VIDEO: Carlos Correa's Absolutely Blazing Relay Throw Nails Indians' Franmil Reyes at the Plate
By Sam Dunn

The Houston Astros were NOT about to let their slim 1-0 lead go up in smoke-- and in order to ensure that was the case, Carlos Correa brought the fire. The star shortstop had big-time work to do to get the ball to home plate faster than Cleveland Indians newcomer Franmil Reyes, and he didn't just get the ball there in time; he whipped in an absolute heater.

Folks, that relay throw from shallow left-center field left Correa's hand at an unconscionable 94.5 mph, one of the fastest throws by an MLB shortstop all season long, according to Statcast.

Sometimes, you're just feeling it. And the Astros, who won the MLB trade deadline by acquiring ace Zack Greinke, can seemingly do no wrong.
