VIDEO: Carson Wentz Threw a Horrible Pass to Miles Sanders on Wide Open Touchdown
By Jerry Trotta
The Philadelphia Eagles came into Sunday's matchup against the Seattle Seahawks ravaged by injuries, particularly to their receiving corps that already wasn't offering much production. Therefore, it was required that Carson Wentz be as efficient and accurate as ever. Unfortunately, Philly's gunslinger didn't get off to a great start as he woefully overthrew Miles Sanders in the red zone on what would have been a walk-in touchdown.
How is that even possible?
A quarterback of Wentz's caliber simply should not miss his target by so much that he doesn't even consider jumping to haul it in. The odds were already stacked against him coming into the game, and Wentz is somehow making things worse.
