VIDEO: Cassius Winston Receives Standing Ovation After Double-Double Following Brother's Death
By Chris Pyo

It would've been more than understandable if Michigan State point guard Cassius Winston had chosen to sit out a game after the devastating death of his younger brother, Zachary. However, the potential NBA draft pick suited up against Binghamton anyway, and he balled out, posting a double-double. As Winston checked out of the game in the fourth quarter, he received a touching standing ovation from the Spartan faithful.
An emotional standing ovation. ?

In the midst of tragedy, props to the Michigan State crowd for making sure that Winston knew he has a community to lean back on. Some things really are bigger than basketball, but you can be sure that Winston will dedicate the rest of his season to his brother.
After a somber moment of silence to begin the contest, Winston showed true leadership in orchestrating a blowout victory to get Sparty back on track.
Join us in lifting up the Winston family.
