VIDEO: Celtics Fans Chant 'Kyrie Sucks' Despite Him Not Being at TD Garden
By Karl Rasmussen

Boston Celtics fans are making their opinion on Kyrie Irving very clear early on in Wednesday's tilt against the Nets. Irving was issued a chorus of boos, followed by an aggressive "Kyrie Sucks" chant from the supporters in Beantown. While the fans may be absolutely feeling themselves over their trash talk, it's certainly worth pointing out that Irving didn't actually make the trip to Boston with his Nets teammates.

While Irving is nowhere to be found at TD Garden, that hasn't discouraged fans from throwing shade at their former point guard.
Irving, who infamously voiced his desire to wear No. 11 in Boston for the foreseeable future, left town this offseason to pair up with Kevin Durant in Brooklyn.
He conveniently missed this matchup with the Celtics due to a shoulder injury, and in his absence fans are giving him grief.

We've got to say, it's hard to imagine Irving being all that impacted by this noise considering he's probably watching from home.
Wednesday's showdown is Irving's seventh consecutive absence for the Nets, but the fans at TD Garden were acting as if he was on the ball and running plays for the road team.
