VIDEO: Chad Green Whiffs Manny Machado as Yankee Stadium Erupts

During the offseason, it seemed inevitable Yankees fans would have the good fortune of cheering Manny Machado on in the Bronx. Well, they were at least partially right. The Bronx erupted in delight on Memorial Day as the now-San Diego Padre fanned on a 98 MPH heater from Chad Green.

It was only fitting that Machado, who spurned the Yankees for the Padres as a free agent, was the final batter Green faced in the inning as he sent down the side on strikes.
The Yankee faithful got the last laugh on this one, no doubt about it. Take a seat, Manny.
