The San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals are gearing up for their showdown on Thursday Night Football, but that doesn't mean that players from either team aren't susceptible to an unprecedented encounter in the days leading up to the game. Niners quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was doing a little grocery shopping at an undisclosed supermarket when Cards defensive end Chandler Jones snuck up behind him and caught him by surprise.

We're just relieved that Arizona's stud edge rusher didn't sack San Fran's franchise quarterback upon surprising him-- though he'll certainly be licking his chops at the thought of doing so come Thursday night.
