VIDEO: Chargers Troll Steeler Nation By Rick Rolling Them During 'Renegade'
By Mark Powell

While Sunday night was a Chargers home game, Steeler Nation always travels well, and dominated the attendance numbers at Dignity Health Sports Park. Pittsburgh inevitably ended up winning the game, but a greater story was the sea of black and yellow in the stands. Instead of relishing in the embarrassment, the Chargers had a little fun at the Steelers expense.

At Heinz Field, the Steelers typically play the well-known song 'Renegade' by Styx to pump up their fans at some point in the fourth quarter, specifically when they need a defensive stand. Pittsburgh fans must've been confused at first as the Chargers played the beginning of the tune, only to back out and Rick Roll the hell out of Steeler Nation. It was glorious.
Al Michaels stated the crowd in LA was 80% @Steelers fans. The @Chargers however, may have gotten a bit of revenge on #Pittsburgh fans by beginning to play Renegade only to "Rick Roll" them. #HereWeGo https://t.co/XdW0kKIQT5

In the end, Steelers fans can have a good laugh, as they came away with a hard-fought victory heading into their bye week.
