VIDEO: Charles Barkley Roasts Draymond Green for Averaging a 'Triple-Single' This Year
The Golden State Warriors have been terrible this season, largely due to the absence of Klay Thompson and Steph Curry. Draymond Green is the only key piece from the Finals teams still healthy or in town, and he has not done much to boost the Warriors this season. That had Charles Barkley taking a quick shot at the forward during the TNT halftime show Thursday night.
The 9-33 Warriors are on national television a bunch this year and Green is the only supposed star to be found. Yet as Barkley mentioned, Green is averaging a "triple-single" in points, rebounds, and assists. Harsh, but true words from the former star turned analyst.
Green's averaging an uninspiring line of 8.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.5 assists, while shooting just 38.5% from the field.
Green has only averaged nine points per game throughout his career and that has been good enough with Curry, Thompson, and Kevin Durant also on the court. But, with the trio of stars no longer sharing the floor with Dray, his production has faltered, and he's being exposed on the floor. Barkley isn't going to let his struggles go unnoticed.
