When The Kanas City Chiefs won their first Super Bowl in 50 years, many were exhilarated to see such a long-lasting championship drought come to an end. Among those who were ecstatic was actor Paul Rudd, whose Kansas City roots stem from when he attended junior high and high school in the area. In an interview with MJ Acosta and James Palmer on NFL Network, the Chiefs mega-fan went in-depth about just how he's been feeling since his favorite team won the big game.

Like every lifelong Chiefs fans, Rudd has been dreaming of this moment for literally his entire existence. Rudd has described living as a Chiefs fan as "a soul-crushing disappointment" -- born in 1969, Rudd was less than a year old when KC won its first and only Super Bowl title before Sunday came along.

Paul finally doesn't have to say "wait 'till next year" in hopes that his beloved football team will come out of the abyss of mediocrity it has been stuck in for so much of his life.

Acosta asked Rudd about the Patrick Mahomes blazer he wore when presenting the MVP award to the KC quarterback at the NFL Honors in 2019. Rudd, however, will not be sporting the blazer at any future dates, as he auctioned it off and donated the proceeds money to a hospital in Kansas City.

Speeches are paramount at a Super Bowl parade, and Rudd sounded quite interested in hearing what Travis Kelce had to say.

I don't think he was disappointed with the result.

This has been the moment Rudd and all Chiefs fans have been waiting for. After waiting for more than 50 painful years, Kansas City has reclaimed football immortality.
