VIDEO: Chris Sale Ejected After Apparent NSFW Call Out of Umpire Mike Estabrook on Way to Dugout

Saturday's eight-run outing against the New York Yankees took a toll on Boston Red Sox Chris Sale. It also did not help that home plate umpire Mike Estabrook was squeezing Sale.

Sale took out his frustration on Estabrook on his way to the dugout after being pulled in the fourth. He allowed seven runs in the fourth including his second home run to D.J. LeMahieu.
Sale actually has a 1.50 ERA with Estabrook behind home plate umpire over his career, but on Saturday they could not agree on the zone. 2019 has also been a very tough year for Sale as his ERA ballooned to 4.68, which is the highest of his career.

Seems like Estabrook was not in favor of the high strike on Saturday. No matter what Sale thought the zone was, it did not impact him that much. Frankly, Sale was shelled by the Yankees. Fair strike zone or not, Sale didn't have it on Saturday.
Sale likely needed someone or something to take out a season's worth or frustration on and decided the home plate umpire was the right man for the job.
