VIDEO: Christian Yelich Slugs 428-Foot Bomb in First At-Bat Thursday
By Joey Mauceri
Six games felt like forever without a Christian Yelich bomb, but the wait is over, as Yelich just slugged this monster 428-foot tater to give the Brewers an early 1-0 advantage.
Yelich is certainly having a season for the ages. A lot of us thought it would be tough for him to follow up the incredible MVP campaign he had last season, but he's already almost halfway to his home run total from last season (36) with his MLB-leading 17th homer just halfway through the month of May.
The left-handed slugger is on another planet right now with his hitting; is he on his way to back-to-back MVP seasons?
