VIDEO: Clint Frazier Mashes Homer to Straightaway Center to Give Yankees 6-0 Lead Over Orioles
By Michael Luciano
After a torrid April, a brief stint on the IL had cooled off Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier in a big way. However, a matchup against Orioles pitching will always do a struggling hitter well, as Red Thunder slammed a two-run home run off of starter David Hess to give the Yankees a 6-0 lead over Baltimore at Camden Yards.
Man, did Frazier ever need that one.
As is the case with many young power hitters, Frazier has a tendency to overanalyze when he's in a slump and get too aggressive trying to make the one big hit that breaks the slide. When he just calms down and lets it rip, his special bat speed can really shine.
Even though his playing time might diminish when Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton come back, Frazier is doing everything he can to earn at-bats when the two big sluggers return from injury.
