VIDEO: Clip Reveals Daniel Jones Got Ankle Crushed by Packers' Preston Smith Late in Sunday's Game

The New York Giants lost in more ways in one on Sunday. Not only did they suffer yet another defeat against the Green Bay Packers (what else is new?), but Daniel Jones suffered an ankle injury during the game. Though he came back in to play following the injury, the replay we were treated to after the game did not look good. Packers linebacker Preston Smith practically crushed Jones' ankle with all of his weight.
That just looks extremely painful, especially considering he suffered the injury in the freezing cold.
Head coach Pat Shurmur claims that the injury didn't affect his play, but it is worth nothing that two of Jones' three interceptions on the day came after his ankle got squashed.
It's just an ugly injury. The fact that Jones even chose to play through it is admirable, even if it ultimately ended up hurting his team's chances.
It will definitely be something to keep an eye on as the season winds down for the Giants. The injury could influence the rookie's production and playing time.
