VIDEO: Cody Bellinger Becomes Fastest Dodgers to Hit 100 Home Runs With 4th Inning Blast
By Mark Powell
Cody Bellinger continues to make history. With a fourth inning blast against the San Diego Padres, Bellinger not only tied Christian Yelich and Mike Trout for the MLB lead in home runs with 36. He also became the fastest Dodger to reach 100 home runs, doing so in just 401 games. Yes, that's an absurd rate.
Bellinger is in a battle for NL MVP with Yelich, who has a slight advantage in batting average after a recent tear. Yet, Bellinger is also capable of getting hot, and this race is far from over.
