VIDEO: Cody Bellinger is Officially Tired of People Rushing the Field to Hug Him
By Parker White

I understand Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger has become one of the best players in the game and is having a monster 2019 campaign. I also know that Bellinger in the eyes of many females is a dreamboat. However, that doesn't mean you can run on the field for a hug, which has happened to Bellinger two straight days. I'm sure Bellinger is flattered by it, but he's already tired of this happening.

“I had a feeling it was definitely a possibility just because it kind of blew up on social media,” Bellinger said. “I'm just trying to play a game. I don't think I should have to worry about who's going to come on the field and whatnot.”
For the second straight day, a person ran onto the field to hug Cody Bellinger last night.

Sadly, this has started to become a thing and I'm sure more people might try to get onto the field to hug Bellinger before escorted out by security. He shouldn't have to worry about that every time he takes the field, which is why the Dodgers are already thinking about extra security and netting in that area to keeps fans from entering the field of play.
It may be harmless now, but all it takes is one lunatic to do something that could harm the player.
