VIDEO: Cody Bellinger Obliterates 47th Homer of the Year as Dodgers Jump Out Ahead of Giants
By Karl Rasmussen
Cody Bellinger won't be winning the home run crown this season, but the Dodgers star is continuing to rake at the dish, and added to his tally with a solo shot off Giants' Johnny Cueto. Bellinger's blast puts him at 47 on the season, as he's currently third in the majors, trailing Pete Alonso (52) and Eugenio Suarez (49).
Bellinger is hoping to claim the NL MVP award and his latest dinger puts him that much closer to hoisting the trophy. While the individual award will be nice, Belli has his sights set on a World Series ring, as the Dodgers have fallen short in back-to-back seasons.
