VIDEO: Colin Cowherd Unleashes Harshest Criticism Yet on Browns QB Baker Mayfield After Latest Loss
By Chris Russo

With the Cleveland Browns at 5-7 and their playoffs hopes pretty much dead unless they get a lot of them from the others in the race, the critics are out in full force. And who better than Colin Cowherd to throw more gasoline on the fire that is his feud with QB Baker Mayfield? He did just that on Tuesday, and we cannot wait to hear Baker's response.
"Baker Mayfield has the best WR tandem in the league arguably, best RB tandem and his numbers are at the bottom... Folks, this is not a starting QB in the league." — @ColinCowherd pic.twitter.com/4dMMRWOE6g

My goodness.
Though the Browns are still within two games of the second Wild Card spot, Cowherd also added the team should fire head coach Freddie Kitchens in order to "save" Mayfield.
But this is bound to cause a stir considering Mayfield is simply enduring a sophomore slump after the Browns underwent a lot of changes in the offseason. Sure, they were changes for the better, but an adjustment period is still crucial for most players at this level.
"There is a silver lining in this annual dumpster fire. Freddie Kitchens is officially the coach, but unofficially fired by the Cleveland Browns." — @ColinCowherd pic.twitter.com/3pdIChBHQi

While Kitchens had all of the ingredients to log a successful rookie head coaching season, he was unable to achieve the tall task. It's hard to blame the guy, but someone has to be the scapegoat, and his dismissal could be the only thing Cowherd is right about.
