VIDEO: Cowboys Battle and Come Away With Ridiculous Tipped Pick on Teddy Bridgewater
By Scott Rogust
Teddy Bridgewater, meet the Dallas Cowboys defense. In the New Orleans Saints' opening drive of the game on Sunday, backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater completed 3-of-4 passes for 31 yards. On his very next pass attempt, Bridgewater rolled out and targeted Ted Ginn Jr., but the veteran receiver bobbled the catch. Cowboys cornerback Chidobe Awuzie spotted the Duke, tipped it up with one hand, and secured the interception.
While the Saints probably want that play back, they can take solace in the fact the Cowboys only walked away with a field goal. Not bad news at all.
