VIDEO: CPBL Pitcher Delivers the Most Bizarre Hidden Ball Trick Pitch of All Time

Over the weekend, the Chinese Professional Baseball League hosted it's annual All-Star game, pinning the CPBL's finest up against the Taiwanese national team. During the game, pitcher Mitch Lively tried one of the most unorthodox trick pitches you'll ever see.

It seems like Lively's plan was to fake out the batter, hiding the ball behind his glove before eventually pitching it anyway. Although the execution wasn't there, it was certainly an interesting moment, and hats off to the batter for not being fooled at all by the odd delivery.

The pitch and play were called off by the umpire, which was probably a good thing for Lively after the batter crushed the pitch into left field.

Lively's spent time in the systems of the Rockies, Giants and Nationals before turning to international baseball. Since the beginning of his career 12 years ago, he's clearly picked up some tricks along the way.
