VIDEO: Cubs Continue Destruction of Mets With Homers From Kyle Schwarber and Nicholas Castellanos
By Daniel Marcillo

After the Cubs took the series opener on Tuesday night, they've jumped all over Noah Syndergaard during Wednesday's game with their opposite field home runs. Kyle Schwarber broke the game open with this long drive into the left field bleachers to put the Cubs up 8-1 in the second inning.

That came after a six-run first inning, in which he had an RBI double.
The Cubs' destruction of the Thor did not end there, however. Nicholas Castellanos joined the fun during the third inning with a 383 foot home run to right-center field. It moved the Cubs to double-digit runs on the night.

It's safe to say the Cubs have put themselves in position to bury the Mets for good.
