VIDEO: Cubs Fans at Wrigley Made the Longest Beer Snake Ever
By Daniel Marcillo
Things are going extremely well for Cubs fans these days, they hold the second Wild Card spot and 5-1 win against Seattle Mariners. Fans were enjoying the Labor Day weekend and enjoying some beer. Well, a lot of beer by the looks of it. The broadcast caught footage of an absolute unit of a beer snake in the outfield stands, probably the biggest in its species' history.
This beer snake surely topped 10 feet in height and became a spectacle in the bleachers. It took some serious teamwork to get this done as multiple hands to stack hundreds of these Cubs on top of each other.
This is truly a work of art, and whether Cubs brass is fond of the shenanigans in their bleachers, this not only makes the cleanup far more convenient, but it's an awesome way for fans to interact at the game.
