VIDEO: Cubs' Kyle Schwarber Punishes Brewers With Monster Grand Slam
By Scott Rogust
The Chicago Cubs have a bit of a stranglehold over the second Wild Card spot in the National League, and their recent power surge is playing a huge factor. On Thursday night, the North Siders faced off against the Milwaukee Brewers, who are looking to scratch and claw their way past them for a postseason berth. During the top of the sixth inning with the bases loaded and a 5-4 lead, Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber demolished the baseball to right-center field of Miller Park for a grand slam.
The Chicago Bears' offense could use Schwarber right about now. Sheesh, that's a lot of pop.
