The Chicago Cubs managed to overcome their own ineptitude early against the Pittsburgh Pirates an open up a 10-4 lead in the third inning. Anthony Rizzo provided most of the thunder on the day, crushing a grand slam to open up a huge advantage against their division rivals.

Rizzo's home run was No. 26 on the season. If he keeps mashing like this alongside Nick Castellanos, Kris Bryant, and the rest of the Cubs, Chicago could make some noise when the leaves change and the games really start to count.
