VIDEO: D'Angelo Russell Hangs With FC Barcelona and Helps Very Short Riqui Puig Dunk
By Zack Jiang

D'Angelo Russell is in for a big pay day this offseason after a breakout season with the Nets. However, he's currently just enjoying his time off before the negotiations. Check him out visiting soccer juggernauts FC Barcelona and giving a helping hand to 5-foot-7 midfielder Riqui Puig:
At 19, Puig is only four years Russell's junior, but next to the Brooklyn All-Star, he really looks like a little kid. When it came to the soccer skills, though, the Barca lad was able to strut his stuff like a veteran.
Russell claimed that he is a "true fan" of Lionel Messi, and called him the best player in the world. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Russell got a chance to meet Leo himself; he enjoyed his visit to the Camp Nou nonetheless.
Russell's visit to the legendary home of the Blaugrana was part of his trip through Spain with teammate Joe Harris. They have visited other teams, including Real Madrid, and even attended the UEFA Champions League Final between Liverpool and Tottenham in the Spanish capital.
The Nets point guard will be back in the gym soon enough to keep improving his game, but for now, he's enjoying his well-deserved rest-- and giving young Riqui a taste of the dunker's life.
