VIDEO: D-Backs' Ketel Marte Races Around the Bases for Inside-the-Park Home Run
By Charles Nason
There's nothing quite like seeing a batter round all four bases for an inside-the-park home run. Well, Diamondbacks center fielder Ketel Marte made sure to amaze in his speedy effort to add another run to the board in the desert on Sunday.
Safe to say that Gerardo Parra's mistake was a huge help in Marte's inside-the-park homer.
What's even more impressive than Marte's speed around the bases was the juke he put on Nats catcher Yan Gomes to reach home safely. This insane play comes just a day after Marte put up two hits and a triple in the D-Backs' 18-7 routing of the Nationals.
He's an All-Star starter for a reason, folks.
