VIDEO: D'Backs Pepper Steven Matz in First Inning With 3 Runs in Just as Many Batters
By Joey Mauceri
The Mets bullpen continued to get rocked as they blew a lead in Arizona late Saturday night, but now apparently their starters want to get in on the home run serving as Steven Matz has already surrendered two homers to the first three Diamondbacks hitters of the game Sunday afternoon, putting New York in a 3-0 hole.
Now that's what I call a fast start!
Ketel Marte started it off with an absolute bomb that went a ridiculous 482 feet(!!!), Tim Locastro singled to right, and then Eduardo Escobar followed that up with a homer of his own.
The Mets aren't having a lot of fun in the desert, to say the least.
