VIDEO: D-Backs Star Ketel Marte's Reaction to Making Finals of All-Star Game Balloting is Perfect

The three finalists for each starting spot in the MLB All-Star balloting were just announced, and many young players will have their first chance at recognition, and hearing their name on the list is good reason for celebration. But for Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop Ketel Marte, it's just one more reason to keep working. The moment Marte found out he would be part of the next stage of balloting was underwhelming. As the announcement was made, he simply just continued with his bike workout as if nothing had happened.

It's not that Marte doesn't care about the possibility of being an All-Star, of course. He knows that he's in that position because of hard work, and hard work is what is going to keep him there.

The shortstop is one of the most improved players in the league this year after improving his slugging percentage by 132 points, and already beating his home run record of 14 in 153 games last season with his current 20 homers in 73 games.

Ketel Marte has shown the league what hard work can do, and this video shows that he's not going to change any time soon.
