VIDEO: Daniel Jones and Golden Tate Connect for Pair of TDs to Toast Jets
By Andy Loughmiller
The New York Giants are currently in a back-and-forth game with the New York Jets in MetLife Stadium. But things would be much bleaker for the G-Men if they didn't have Golden Tate. First, Daniel Jones hooked up with Tate on a screen pass for a 61-yard touchdown.
Tate is known for his run-after-catch ability. He is always among the NFL leaders in yards after catch.
Jones and Tate weren't done there, either. They connected for a 15-yard score on the Giants' next possession to temporarily take the lead over the Jets.
The rookie quarterback and veteran receiver are really starting to develop a rapport on the field.
The Jets have since reclaimed the lead, thanks to subpar defense from Big Blue (what else is new?). Jones and Tate will need to keep making plays for the Giants to win this game.
