VIDEO: Dansby Swanson Jokingly Says He Hates Stephen Strasburg at Braves FanFest

It seems like Dansby Swanson hates facing Stephen Strasburg just as much as you hate watching your team get constantly stuck out by him. Swanson was on stage with teammates Ronald Acuña and Freddie Freeman at Atlanta's annual FanFest when they were asked who the toughest pitcher to face is. Swanson's response was pure gold.

Freeman and Acuña immediately jumped to two-time Cy Young winner Jacob DeGrom, while Swanson jokingly said, "I hate Stephen Strasburg."

Swanson surely isn't alone here, as Strasburg continues to churn out strikeouts, 251 in the 2019 season to be exact. Funny enough, Swanson's record isn't that bad against the Washington Nationals pitcher.

The shortstop has six hits and five RBI against Strasburg. That's not a terrible return for someone he hates to face.

Unfortunately for Swanson, the Atlanta Braves and Nationals will meet several times this upcoming campaign. Time to turn his hatred into dingers.
