If you couldn't tell during the season, the players on the Cleveland Browns, including quarterback Baker Mayfield, were not thrilled with Hue Jackson during his tenure as head coach, and especially when he latched on with the Cincinnati Bengals shortly after. Mayfield's problem with Jackson has been well documented, but he wasn't the only player who felt disrespected. Browns tight end David Njoku went on The Rich Eisen Show and admitted that what Baker did was representative of how the majority of the locker room felt. Take a look:

“Well obviously we weren’t happy with what Hue said about us after he left. It is what it is," Njoku said. "Baker didn’t appreciate it. We came together after Hue left and took it upon ourselves to work extra hard to finish the year strong… Baker has a voice — as we all do — and he didn’t appreciate what happened. It’s not like we’re robots. We felt, in a way, disrespected.”

After Jackson was fired, he did several interviews with media outlets, and while he took part of the blame for their 1-31 stretch under his watch, he was pointing fingers and took shots at some of the players, including Mayfield.

That didn't sit well with Baker, and come to find out, the locker room as a whole wasn't fan of the blame game Jackson was playing.
