VIDEO: Demaryius Thomas' 2 Preseason Finale TDs Should Excite Patriots Fans
By Jerry Trotta
Many eyebrows were raised when the New England Patriots went out of their way to sign wideout Demaryius Thomas this offseason, and for good reason. The former Bronco and Texan was 31 years old and fresh off a torn Achilles that he suffered LATE in the regular season last year. Well, it would appear that the two-time Pro Bowler is rewarding the Pats' faith, as he utterly showed out in the team's preseason finale Thursday night against the Giants. Check out DT execute some back-shoulder supremacy to haul in a 35-yard touchdown early in the second quarter.
Wow.
Thomas made his man look like a small child as he went up to grab that one.
But, that wasn't all the Georgia Tech product had to say in this one. Check out the former Yellow Jacket snag his second TD of the night for New England:
Seven receptions for 87 yards and two touchdowns with over 2.5 quarters to spare? If that doesn't excite the Foxborough faithful, then we don't know what will.
