VIDEO: Deontay Wilder Lands Vicious Right-Hand Punch to Knock Out Dominic Breazeale in First Round
By Mark Powell
The fight was over before it even began. Deontay Wilder said he wanted a body on his record. While he didn't go THAT far in his match against Dominic Breazeale, Wilder did knock out his opponent in less than one round of action. Despite some controversy surrounding how he handles himself outside of the ring, there's no questioning his greatness within the confines of the ropes. This was a no-contest.
That is an absolutely vicious right hand. Breazeale was out before he even had time to adjust to Wilder's aggressive approach, and it speaks to the mentality Wilder had going into this fight. Instead of allowing the buzz to build up, the 33-year-old landed one right hand and rung the bell himself. Oh my goodness.
