VIDEO: Derek Carr Apologizes for Boneheaded Play at Goal Line That Cost the Raiders
By Michael Luciano

Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr found himself as another victim of the dumbest rule in all of sports, as he fumbled the ball while extending for the pylon. The ball squirted out of Carr's grasp, and bounced out of bounds in the end zone, giving the Green Bay Packers the ball at the 20 yard line.

Carr himself fell on the sword in his postgame comments, claiming that it was a "stupid" move to extend the ball out towards the pylon.

Carr might be acting all contrite right about now, but this is not the first time that he's been guilty of this particular infraction.
Carr fumbled late in a Sunday Night game against the Dallas Cowboys two years ago doing the same exact thing.

Carr has now been burned twice in the last three years reaching the ball for the pylon like he's Michael Vick. Maybe this will be the incident that finally sets Carr straight and eliminates that move from his repertoire.
