VIDEO: Derek Fisher Completely Misplays Fly Ball and Gets Popped in the Face
By Michael Luciano
At the risk of sounding like Derek Fisher's tee-ball coach, keep your eye on the ball! The brand new Toronto Blue Jays outfielder, who was sent up north in the same move that sent Aaron Sanchez and Joe Biagini to the Houston Astros, isn't making the strongest of first impressions, having badly misplayed a routine fly-ball against the Baltimore Orioles that ended with him getting dinged in the face.
Fisher picked up a nice battle scar after the fact, with a giant welt under his right eye serving as a painful reminder of what happens when you lose a ball in the lights.
Fisher did pick up an RBI single in his first game as a Blue Jay, so his brief adventure with the team hasn't been all bad. However, you can bet his new teammates are going to roast him to no end for his comical defense in the outfield.
