VIDEO: Devin Booker Absolutely Torches Ben Simmons Twice in Pickup Game
By Michael Luciano

How are you feeling about that $170 million contract now, Philly fans? The 76ers gave Ben Simmons that massive five-year deal due to his versatility, passing, and presence inside. He still needs to work, however, to improve his laughably nonexistent shot and his man-to-man defense. Even in a pickup game, Simmons was getting cooked regularly, as Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker had no trouble gliding past the Sixers point guard.

Maybe Booker is preparing to have an ungodly season under new Suns head coach Monty Williams.
Booker averaged 26.6 points and 6.8 assists last season, but had to struggle through another year at the bottom of the league for Robert Sarver's lackluster Suns. Hopefully we can see Booker in some meaningful action this year and not in late-season games with the same energy level as this pickup game.

Booker looks ready to go, but Simmons defending like his shoes are made of concrete isn't what Sixers fans wanted to see.
