VIDEO: Devin Hester's Son is Just as Tough to Tackle as He Was
By Michael Luciano
When you're the son of the greatest return man to ever put on a helmet, it appears that shiftiness and elusiveness on a football field just comes naturally. The son of former Chicago Bears special teams star Devin Hester is proving that raw speed, lateral quickness, and athletic ability really can get passed down across generations.
With a record 20 return touchdowns in just 11 seasons, including 11 in his first two years in the NFL, anytime Hester touched the ball, you knew he was gone if he made one guy miss.
Hester comes from an athletic family, as his cousin Aaron played in Canada for the Edmonton Eskimos. The younger Hester has got some good genes thanks to dad, who is a former champion sprinter, two-way college player, and NFL game-breaker.
While he's still 20 return touchdowns below dad's record mark, something tells me there's a chance we could hear Hester's son's name called in the 2032 NFL Draft.
