VIDEO: Devlin Hodges Gives Props to Steeler Nation After Road Victory in LA

The Pittsburgh Steelers entered Week 6 with a tough matchup on paper against the Los Angeles Chargers. Having to make the trip to the west coast, many thought the Steelers would be at a disadvantage. That proved not to be the case, as Pittsburgh, led by undrafted rookie (and duck call enthusiast) Devlin Hodges, defeated the Chargers 24-17 in a Quality Health Sports Park filled predominantly by Steelers fans. Following his first career win, Hodges credited the well-traveled fans, stressing that it didn't feel like a road game.
With each score, Hodges said it got so loud in the Chargers' own turf that he thought he had "to settle some people down."
The undrated rookie signal caller out of Samford University completed 15-of-20 pass attempts for 132 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. His lone touchdown came on a pass to running back James Conner.
Devlin Hodges couldn't have done better. He pulled the Pittsburgh Steelers to 2-4 and a tie for second place in the AFC North heading into their Week 7 bye. But, as Hodges said, a lot of credit goes to Steeler Nation for pulling out the extra Delta Sky Miles to make Los Angeles feel like home.
