VIDEO: Didi Gregorius Adds to Yankees' Lead With 2-Run Blast off Chris Sale
By Karl Rasmussen
The Yankees got out to an early lead over the Red Sox with Austin Romine's two-run shot, but the Bombers weren't done barreling baseballs just yet. Didi Gregorius clubbed a two-run blast of his own in the top of the fourth inning, extending New York's lead to four runs.
Gregorius is showing up in a key game for the Yankees, who are looking to hold onto their lead atop the AL East.
The two-run blast off one of baseball's most feared pitchers, in a lefty-vs-lefty matchup nonetheless, will give the Yankees some confidence heading into the middle of the game.
