VIDEO: Didi Gregorius Announces His Yankees Return With 2-Run Homer in Cleveland
By Ryan Flores
Didi Gregorius is back, and he's already wreaking havoc. In the New York Yankees shortstop's second game back from a long absence following Tommy John surgery, he launched an absolute bomb off of Cleveland Indians pitcher Adam Plutko in the top of the first inning.
The ball jumped off the bat, and Gregorius is wasting no time in getting to midseason form. Yankee fans were missing their beloved shortstop, and after a two-hit game Friday, he raised the bar with his early moonshot on Saturday.
Welcome back, Didi. The Bronx has anxiously been awaiting your return to the field.
