VIDEO: Didi Gregorius Slashes Blue Jays' Lead With Solo Bomb
By Charles Nason
Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius added to New York's unreal MLB record of consecutive games with a home run on Wednesday. Down 5-0 early, he smacked a solo shot in the second inning of Wednesday's matchup with the Toronto Blue Jays to begin the process of a comeback.
Gregorius' second home run of the season marks the 29th straight game that the Yankees have hit a home run. With that dinger getting the ball rolling for New York, the Yankees are looking to climb the long road back for a three-game sweep of the Blue Jays.
