VIDEO: DJ LeMahieu Rocks Leadoff Homer Against Clayton Kershaw to Set Record for Yankees

While the ESPN crew was attempting to get their bearings, DJ LeMahieu was busy rocketing a loopy Clayton Kershaw curveball deep into the ravine. Even from a bizarre camera angle, it was still just as sweet to watch the team's MVP wait, rock, and fire, sending the Yankees' 59th homer of the month deep into the los Angeles evening.

Wait, did I just say 59 in a MONTH?
I believe I did, and if that sounds like unfamiliar territory, that's because even though it's only August 25, no big league team has ever socked this many blasts in such a time frame. Though this mark was somewhat Orioles-aided, it's a record nonetheless.
That's 59 HR for the Yankees in August.
