VIDEO: Don Cherry Says Matt Grzelcyk Was 'Asking for It' on Dirty Hit by Oskar Sundqvist

Oskar Sundqvist got a two-minute boarding penalty during Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final after crashing into the glass and Matt Grzelcyk. But at least one pundit places the blame on Grzelcyk instead, even as he took a nasty looking hit that landed him in the hospital.

"He [Sundqvist] didn't mean to hit him, he was just finishing his check...he's just asking for it," said SportsNet analyst Don Cherry on the collision, as he faults Grzelcyk for going into the corner.
The good news is that Matt Grzelcyk is out of the hospital. The bad news is that he's in concussion protocol and won't be traveling to St. Louis with the Bruins team ahead of Games 3 & 4 https://t.co/r5g3Vfy5YM

Cherry then goes on to say that the helmet makes play less safe, because skaters are now somehow unable to "keep their head on a swivel."
I get it, it's not just the playoffs, it's the Stanley Cup Final. Plenty of borderline calls this late in the season go unpenalized. However, that doesn't mean that dirty hits should go scot-free. Cherry is in the wrong here, but what else is new?
