VIDEO: Donald Trump Made a Crazy Mistake When Presenting Mariano Rivera With Medal of Freedom

No matter who you are or what your politics are, if you're honoring Mariano Rivera and make this big of a mistake when speaking about him, you really don't deserve to be in the same room as him. Someone really screwed up President Donald Trump's script on the teleprompter...

Rivera was at the White House being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Trump for his contributions to the game of baseball and portraying the American Dream.

In his speech, the President said that Rivera made it to the majors in 1955. That would currently make Rivera 84 years old, which means he was mowing batters down as late as his 78th birthday. Satchel Paige truly doesn't have anything on Mo.

Rivera and Trump walked into the ceremony together to Metallica's Enter Sandman, which was notably Rivera's entrance song during his career. That's a pretty nice transition from the United States Marine Band.

Also, hearing Bob Sheppard's voice introduce Mo one more time probably made a few people shed a tear.

All in all, while it was a great day for Mo, Trump's hilarious error is definitely going to overtake some of the headlines.
