VIDEO: Draymond Green Comments on Steve Kerr Breaking Clipboard During Warriors Game
By Karl Rasmussen
Steve Kerr was running out of patience with the Warriors on Wednesday night against the Bulls, and at one point he became so frustrated that he actually broke his clipboard. While this crazed passion would startle most people, Draymond Green actually claimed he thinks the accident helped the team gain motivation.
Kerr bloodied himself up after breaking the clipboard, and Green described how there was blood all over the head coach's pants, as well as the clipboard.
He went on to admit that it did in fact get a "rise out of the team," and commented on how it "turned the game around."
The Warriors ended up winning 105-90 on their home floor against the Bulls, improving to a still-underwhelming 4-15. They outscored the Bulls 26-17 in the fourth quarter, so it certainly looks like Kerr's antics had some impact.
Even though the Warriors aren't the same team they were as recently as last year, Kerr still coaches this group with fire and passion, and that was on full display Wednesday night.
