VIDEO: Draymond Green Has Incredibly Blunt Assessment of Warriors' Current Situation
By Chris Pyo
It's only two games into the 2019-20 NBA season, but many people are already saying that the Golden State Warriors' dynasty has come to an end. After losing their season opener to the Los Angeles Clippers by 19 points, the Warriors were completely blown out by the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 120-92. After the game, Draymond Green offered a blunt assessment of the season thus far.
Draymond is just saying it how it is. The Warriors are 0-2 and have lost by a combined 47 points. That's far from what fans in The Bay are used to.
This early sample of Warriors play shows just how much they're missing Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant right now. Sure, any team would miss the talents of two future Hall of Famers, but when your team's success was completely predicated on their play for the last couple of years, things are bound to go awry.
I mean, the Warriors were down 70-37 at halftime to the Thunder! They're talented in their own right, but they were also supposed to regress a lot after trading Russell Westbrook away.
It might be a long season for Warriors fans at the Chase Center, one that could potentially end early for the Warriors.
