VIDEO: Drew Brees Has Classy Response to Breaking Peyton Manning's Record
By Jerry Trotta

Despite the refs apparently trying to delay his triumph, Drew Brees ultimately did what the world thought he would against the Colts on Monday Night Football. With seven minutes remaining in the third quarter, the Saints superstar threw touchdown No. 540 of his career, breaking Peyton Manning's previous record for the most in NFL history. Renowned for being one of the classiest dudes in all of sports, Brees was exactly that while reflecting on his record-setting performance, which just so happened to take place on the night where New Orleans' entire Super Bowl XL team was in attendance at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Class personified from No. 9, and we would expect nothing less.
Brees also managed to break the NFL record for highest completion percentage in a single game, completing 29 of his 30 passes for a mind-boggling 96.7 percent.

It was simply one of the best performances you will ever see at the quarterback position.
Something tells us, however, that Brees will be quick to bask in his glory and get ready to work for the Saints' Week 16 matchup versus the Titans as they continue their quest to be crowned the NFC's No. 1 seed.
That's just the kind of player he is.
