VIDEO: Dwayne Haskins Throws His 1st Touchdown of Preseason With 55-Yard Bomb to Robert Davis
By Scott Rogust
It took him a week, but Washington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins has hit on his first touchdown pass of the preseason. With two minutes remaining in the first half against the Cincinnati Bengals, Haskins found receiver Robert Davis deep downfield wide open for a 55-yard score. Welcome to the NFL! Sometimes, they come easy.
What makes the throw that much more impressive is that Haskins got rid of the ball with a Bengals defender breathing in his face.
Where Did Dwayne Haskins Go to High School?
You may have heard that Haskins is a local boy to the Capitol region; that's correct! Though his childhood is often connected to the New York Giants, Haskins attended the Bullis School in the Potomac.
Haskins is showing the doubters that Washington's offensive line woes won't be an issue for him if he gets the starting nod at some point this season. There was a lot working against him on this dart, but his man got free, and he...FOUND him. Well played.
