VIDEO: Dwight Howard Weakly Attempts to Respond to Shaq's Major Shade

What's going on, Dwight? You surely understand at this point that Shaquille O'Neal is a major practical joker, so you can't always take what he means at face value. Even so, D12 -- er, D39 -- popped on Instagram Live to field questions from fans Thuesday, and took a moment to address whether or not he'd seen Shaq snarkily claiming that he didn't know who Dwight Howard was and laughing about it on Twitter after the fact.

Witness a subdued, stammering Howard answering the question by not answering it. Is the man sedated? That's perhaps an explanation for his detached, practically lifeless affect as he generally avoided the question at hand.

Should Dwight buy into anything Shaq says? No, that isn't required if he's to have success with the Lakers this season. But the fans in LA need to know that their new acquisition is a total gamer and won't let distractions get in his way.
So far, he's yet to prove that.
