VIDEO: Eagles LB Zach Brown Weasels Away From His Own Kirk Cousins Trash Talk After Loss to Vikings
By Adam Weinrib
I guess Zach Brown wants the cameras off while he enjoys a delicious meal of crow? The Eagles linebacker pregamed for his battle with ex-teammate Kirk Cousins this week by singling out the gunslinger as Minnesota's weak spot. After claiming Cousins was "probably the weakest part" of Minnesota's offense, Brown watched his team get torched 38-20, and did NOT want to talk about it in the aftermath.
I guess he should've added, "But, also, you know, our secondary is made of corrugated bran flakes, so that could factor into Kirk having a solid day."
As it stands, Philly can't contain anyone, let alone lay a finger on Kirk Cousins. In fact, the Eagles defense may have all banded together and prevented a Stefon Diggs exodus to the Patriots. How can the Pro Bowl wideout still be dissatisfied after torching Philly for three TDs and 167 yards? Zach Brown: Peacemaker.
Lesson learned? Maybe? Don't talk unless you're uniquely prepared to back it up. Don't make me label you the weakest part of your defense, Mr. Brown.
Based on what we watched this weekend, that'd be an especially potent insult.
